Dr. iur. Michael Widmer and lic. Iur. Monika Vogel Jost are new Partners at Suffert Neuenschwander & Partner

Suffert Neuenschwander & Partner is very pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. iur. Michael Widmer and lic. Iur. Monika Vogel Jost as partners, effective 1 January 2023.

Michael Widmer is admitted to the bar and has already joined our law firm as a senior associate in 2016. Prior to that, he worked for quite a long time in the IT industry as legal counsel for a large software company. His practice focuses on providing comprehensive advice to companies on IT law issues, in particular on topics such as licensing, maintenance, project and cloud contracts as well as outsourcing and data protection projects. He also has extensive experience in contract and commercial law, distribution law and employment law. As a partner at SN&P, he will further strengthen the firm’s IT legal expertise.

Monika Vogel Jost is admitted to the bar and joined our firm as a senior associate in 2019. Previously, she worked for a long time as a legal advisor to a large association advising members on tenancy law issues and as an attorney-at-law. She is a lawyer of confidence of the Tenants’ Association of Zurich and a specialist judge at tenancy courts in the Canton of Zurich.  She is also a member of the Criminal Law Section of the Zurich Bar Association and of the Criminal Defense Team. Her main practice areas include comprehensive advice and representation of clients in all matters of tenancy and criminal law. As a partner at SN&P, she will use her extensive experience to further strengthen our legal expertise in the areas concerning landlord and tenant law and criminal law.
